Under general supervision of the Assistant Dean of Career Services, provide general career counseling to students, recent graduates, and alumni. Provide advice and guidance regarding the public interest and public sector job markets, including advice and guidance regarding the international job market and prospects. Assist with and manage internal career programming for the student population, including programming related to public interest and sector opportunities. Develop and build on existing relationships with legal employers, particularly with the ultimate goal of identifying and creating new employment opportunities for law students and recent graduates. Work with the Assistant Dean to increase participation in hiring programs, including job fairs, and outreach to employers of all types. Attend networking events especially where public interest and government employers are present. Assist with weekly Career Services newsletter; update Career Services publications and website, and gather employment information.
