Summary
St. Louis College of Pharmacy at University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (UHSP) is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach an elective course focusing on concepts in community pharmacy. The community pharmacy elective course will be offered in the Fall 2025 semester as a 1-credit-hour elective. It is intended to inform pharmacy students of the concepts in community pharmacy and some steps that should be taken to prepare for these careers. Compensation is based on the number of sections taught and is commensurate with degree and experience.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Pharm.D. degree.
  • Leadership experience in community pharmacy is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong English language verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly in written and oral form to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience with learning management systems, Brightspace is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with today's students.
  • Willingness to incorporate diversity, cultural competency, and social justice into teaching.
