This position is responsible for advanced administrative support for the SAE Standards teams and the Senior Director, Standards. This will include managing the collation, maintenance and visualization of data and program metrics, managing equipment for standards activities, coordinating meeting logistics and invoicing, tracking, collecting and chasing corporate contributions. In addition, this position may provide administrative and logistical support for SAE Standards governance bodies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide advanced administrative support duties to the Aerospace and Systems Management standards programs, including equipment and stock management, non-committee meeting coordination, procurement, vendor management.
  • Manage metrics collation, analysis and visualization for all levels of the SAE international standards program, focusing on improve. Expand or amend metrics collection based on business need and technology capability.
  • Manage and grow the Aerospace Standards Corporate Contributions program, including invoicing, liaising with customer contacts and internal Financial Services colleagues, chasing payments, increasing contributors and improving visibility of program.
  • Assist Senior Director, Standards with administrative support.
  • Identify, execute and record process improvements with SAE standards administration
  • Support SAE standards bodies such as SAE Aerospace Council, Executive Standards Committee.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates Degree in business adminstration and 4 years experience in related role
  • Metrics: Ability to manage and institute continuous improvement in management of business metrics
  • Computer Programs: Strong capability with MS Office Suite (particularly Excel); familiarity with Power BI and AI tools
  • Administrative skills: Aptitude for maintaining and instituting continuous improvement in administrative functions including but not limited to procurement, meetings management, basic P&L management, procedures, meeting scheduling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field
  • 5+ years experience in business administration or relevant field
  • Strong teamwork ethic
    Progressive and agressive approach to improvements
  • Ability to easily assimilate data & business context
  • Ability to engage readily with technology programs
  • Good financial acumen

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.
  • Ability to work for long periods at a computer/desk.
  • Standard office environment.
