Job Summary:
This position will provide assistance with production-related processes. This position will provide assistance with production-related processes. It is a combination of the following jobs: Clean Operator, Pressure Tester, Clean Room Specialist
|
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will perform set-up and operation of pressure test equipment by blueprint and/or production planning specifications.
- Will perform all cleaning assignments as directed by blueprint and/or production planning specifications.
- Will work with highly corrosive chemicals at elevated temperatures wearing OSHA and Cal OSHA Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) following Safety Standard Operation Procedures at all times.
- Must be capable of following written and verbal instructions with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- Record all trace ability information of material used and log on shop travelers.
- Will maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, FOD-free fashion and adhere to all Safety standards.

Clean room employees who perform tank operations must wear a company-issued reusable respirator (either full face or half face, depending on facial configuration). In order to wear one, the employee must:
- Successfully pass a pulmonary function test and other physical exams that our company designated occupational PLCHP deems necessary in order for the employee to be medically cleared to wear a respirator.
- Employees must be clean shaven at the seal of the respirator, which means no beards, mustaches, goatees.
Specialist level will require the following:
- Responsible for assisting the department in the development of techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products and to share job knowledge in the department.
- Will assist lab technicians filling tanks with corrosive chemicals as needed.
- Share job knowledge in the department and responsible for assisting in the development of techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products.

Education and Experience:
- Must have successfully met/completed all requirements for Production Helper 1 position.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; previous manufacturing experience may be substituted for education requirement.
- *Employees must bid into these classifications before progression is allowed to higher levels.
- **Progression/ Bid Specialist Position requires 3 years minimum in the preceding classification, in the same Job Family, prior to progression/ bid.

- Ability to interpret blueprints, work orders and production planing documents.
- Abilty to use standard manufacturing measuring instruments as necessary to job functions.
- Must be capable of working with tight tolerances such as + or - .001".
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to perform quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to perform routine work and understand basic planning instructions.
