The Spirit of the Position: The Account Manager supports the Director of Events with a complete oversight for financials, operational, safety, and service-related success at an assigned Event location and operational oversight at other assigned Event locations. Principal Job Duties:
- Oversee set up, operations, and breakdown of event operations
- Manage vendors, supplies, and staffing for up to 15 events.
- Ensure revenue integrity for all parkers coming to the event.
- Responsible for the financial, operational, safety and service success of the event
- Managing, planning, scheduling, training, and directing the activities of Shift Leads and frontline staff for each event
- Ensure that increased revenue, controlled expenses, and customer satisfaction is maximized by maintaining the highest level of safety & service thresholds and initiatives that are aligned with the expectations of our various clients
- Additional duties as assigned.
People
- Attend daily stand up meetings and resume meetings scheduled by client either personally or managed through Assistant Hospitality Managers / Supervisors / Shift Leads.
- Ensure LAZ internal stand up meetings (Pre-Shifts) are held each event
- Manage each event in accordance with LAZ's Event SOP
- Work with the Director of Events to manage staffing levels and prepare staffing call for each event
Assist with the management and development of the Hotel valet team to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parking's culture as a guideline.
- Identify high potential employees to support the organization's continued growth, both within your region and outside.
- Actively participate in the recruiting and onboarding process for prospective.
- Ensure all safety initiatives from the National Safety & Training Manager.
- Any and all safety concerns are reported to the Director of Events for review and suggestions on how to improve safety at the event site.
Product
- Responsible for cultivating client relationships and business retention.
- Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation of assigned events.
- Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our client.
- Responsible for planning and executing the traffic safety plan for the event site.
Experience:
- 3+ yearsManagementexperience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Previous experience working in fast-paced environment with high customer expectations. .
- Ability tocultivatethe client-LAZrelationship.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
Skills:
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehends the English language.
