Our Project Requirement Liaison for Fire Truck Manufacturingoversees the build of custom fire trucks. Assist in the design and configuration of the truck in the early stages and then manage the project through the build process. This involves acting as a liaison between the sales representative/customer and the engineering and manufacturing teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Review incoming orders for completeness and conformance to established requirements (NFPA/ULC)

- Facilitate prebuild meetings with dealers and customers.

- Resolve engineering order review questions with dealers.

- Coordinates and participates in final inspections and delivery of units with dealers and customers.

- Reviews change orders for completeness and conformance to established company requirements.

- Coordinates communications concerning orders among the dealer, customer, sales, engineering, production, purchasing and finance personnel.

- Inspects unit before dealer and customer arrive for final inspection to ensure build accuracy.

- Interacts with a variety of customers, which can include interaction with other departments, managers, customers, vendors, etc.

OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed, to maintain work flow or respond to production requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Emergency Vehicle knowledge preferred

- Automotive and mechanical experience a plus

- Customer Service liaison experience

- Fluent in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc

- Strong organization skills and impeccable attention to detail

- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and proven negotiation skills.

- Proactive, outgoing, positive and professional personality

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
