Financial Analyst - Intern

The Financial Analyst Internship at Solution One Industries is designed for college students to gain hands-on experience in corporate contract financial activities. As a finance intern, you will be fully immersed in the team and site that you support, focusing on a key challenge facing the team. You will have the opportunity to leverage your skills to craft a solution to this challenge with the ongoing support and mentorship of both your direct supervisor and a mentor. In addition to working on your specific project, summer interns will collaborate with various teams across the organization, including Finance, Operations, and the broader organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams across the organization including Finance and Operations.
• Support key Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities such as forecasting, planning, benchmarking, gap analysis, and reporting.
• Assist in the evolution of finance processes and tools.
• Help implement finance and operations best practices.
• Support the advancement of financial reporting including excel modeling and data analytics tools.
• Adapt to evolving business needs and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Provide data-driven insights as needed.
