LyondellBasell Basic Function
This role will be responsible for the monitoring and operation of process equipment used for the safe andreliable operation of the Mont Belvieu, TX storage facility. This role receives direction from a shiftsupervisor and support from other operations, maintenance and technical personnel. Roles & Responsibilities
* Accountable for personal safety, the safety of co-workers and promoting a safe work environment; responsible for carrying out all work activities in compliance with federal and state environmental regulations Min. Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED equivalency * Typically, 1 year of chemical plant experience and/or pipeline (required) Must be willing to: *Work 12 hour rotating shifts and provide overtime coverage *Respond to facility call-outs *Work with hazardous and/or flammable chemicals (with proper safety precautions, training, andequipment) *Work around and/or manually interact with heavy equipment *Work outside, year-round under various weather conditions *Stand and walk for extended periods of time *Work in an environment that requires frequent bending, reaching, and lifting *Enter tight or confined spaces *Climb heights above 25 feet by climbing stairs and vertical ladders.
