Winchester - Part-Time Range Officers

Title: Part-Time Range Officers
Location: East Alton, IL

Salary: $15.00 an hour
Schedule: Flexible to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (evenings), Saturday, and Sunday (mornings). During peak season, individuals must be available to work at least 15 hours per week.

• Assist customers at Winchester's Shooting Facilities.
• Guide new and novice shooters.
• Operate point-of-sale system.
• Work as needed at the Trap and Skeet range and Handgun facility.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Firearms and ammunition knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills, attendance, and safety skills.
• Ability to teach new shooters safe gun handling while shooting clay targets.
• Prior Clay Target Shooting, Trap and Skeet, and Handgun Target Shooting experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb steps, work at heights, in weather elements and extreme temperatures, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
