Camp Waterfront Director - Cape Ann YMCA

The Cape Ann YMCA is hiring a Waterfront Director for Camp Spindrift for the upcoming summer season. This is a full-time seasonal position ideal for individuals with strong aquatic experience, leadership ability, and a passion for creating a safe, engaging environment for youth.

About the Role:

As the Waterfront Director, you'll oversee all aquatic operations at Camp Spindrift, including activities in the pool as well as swimming and boating in the scenic wetlands and marsh area.You'll supervise lifeguards, coordinate swimming and boating activities, manage scheduling, and ensure all YMCA safety protocols are followed. Your leadership will be key in providing a safe and unforgettable waterfront experience for our campers, building their confidence in the water while creating lifelong summer memories.

• Must be 21years or older.
• Current lifeguardcertifications required, will help to recertify if certifications are expired
• Preferred work schedule is Monday-Friday (5 days) throughout the camp season
• Must have reliable transportation to ensure the ability to commute to and arrive at camp on time daily
• Experience with waterfronts a plus
• Experience supervising others a plus
