Job Summary
This job is for Summer 2025, with the possibility of continuation.

This position will perform administrative responsibilities that will support employee talent acquisition/recruitment and hiring processes, and will enhance the experience for our candidates and the campus partners we support.

  • Students will learn and use our Applicant Tracking System, the platform we use to post jobs and hire candidates, to make updates to information, assist with cleanup projects, assist users, and other duties as assigned.


  • Students will have the opportunity to positively impact the candidate experience by providing excellent and efficient customer service to those who reach out with questions about their applications or need help with our system.
  • We're looking for students who enjoy social media, and can assist in creating content that engages and attracts new candidates to our job opportunities.
Our team is a good fit for students who will jump in and quickly learn about talent acquisition and employment services, who will get plugged in and excited to help us grow and contribute to our goals, and who want to gain valuable transferable skills and experience that can be applied to future careers.

The schedule is flexible based on student schedules and our office is open 7:45-4:45 Monday-Friday. Our office is located a few minutes from campus at the East Glenn Admin Complex, located at 1550 East Glenn Avenue. We have ample parking and there is a Tiger Transit stop in front of our building.
Essential Functions
What You'll Do:

  • Enter data into Applicant Tracking System
  • Complete minor updates in Applicant Tracking System
  • Following up with candidates via email and phone
  • Assisting walk-in candidates as they apply for jobs
  • Cleanup of postings and candidate pools
  • Creating social media content that advertises jobs or working at Auburn
  • Performing research that assists with candidate sourcing efforts
  • Purchase, produce, and deliver candidate welcome baskets
  • Provide support at job fairs and events
  • Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled Auburn University student
Preferred Qualifications

  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
  • Any volunteer or paid work experience that includes administrative/office work

Pay Rate $10.00/hr - $12.00/hr
Work Hours 20 (we are flexible)
