Vaco is hiring for an Accounting Clerk opportunity in Coraopolis PA. Key Responsibilities: Generate, review, and process a high volume of customer invoices accurately and on time Match purchase orders, delivery receipts, and other supporting documents to invoices Handle discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices; follow up with appropriate departments or vendors to resolve issues Post transactions to accounting software and maintain up-to-date billing records Monitor aging reports and assist with collections as needed Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account statements Support monthly and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations Maintain and organize digital and physical records of all billing activities Assist in process improvements and ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures Required Skills and Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic accounting/bookkeeping principles High proficiency in Microsoft Excel Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, etc.) Professional communication skills Ability to organize, prioritize and plan tasks Ability to process and maintain sensitivities toward confidential information Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines Motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented Contribute as a team player Punctuality Education/Background: Associates/Technical Degree or higher preferred 3+ years of accounting experience; previous work experience in a highly technical industry is a plus OR an equivalent combination of practical experience and education Experience in Unanet a plus, but not a requirement Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
