The Job

The Associate General Manager role is to help lead and expand SCAN's business. In this role, you will support the oversight and execution of end-to-end business operations, including strategy, growth, compliance, member experience, and financial performance. This position will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure our Medicare Advantage plans deliver superior value to members while meeting regulatory and organizational goals.

You Will

Strategy & Operations o Assist in the development and execution of the overall business strategy for Medicare Advantage products. o Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve operational efficiency and member outcomes. o Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and operational metrics, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.

Business Performance & Growth o Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support membership growth and retention strategies. o Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and internal data to inform go-to-market tactics and product enhancements. o Support plan performance evaluation and Star Ratings improvement initiatives.

Regulatory & Compliance o Ensure compliance with all CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) guidelines and other applicable regulations. o Coordinate with legal, compliance, and regulatory affairs to support audit readiness and policy adherence.

Stakeholder Engagement o Collaborate with network providers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure effective plan administration. o Present updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development o Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. o Support change management efforts and promote cross-functional alignment.

Your Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in healthcare management, with at least 3 years in Medicare Advantage or managed care.
  • Deep understanding of CMS regulations, Medicare Advantage operations, and healthcare payer environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Experience with Star Ratings, Risk Adjustment, and Quality Improvement programs.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L.
