Cleared Security Officer - Armed Aero Patrol

As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Aero Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry a firearm while on duty. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with personnel and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret

$29.00 / Hour - Top Secret

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the aerospace and defense location.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of personnel entering restricted areas.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities when required.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Level III Armed Security Officer Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• An active Department of Defense Secret or higher Clearance is required.
• Texas Security Armed Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
