Direct Support Professional - Carmichael, CA

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a verifiable High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• At least 6 months of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a focus on behavioral services, is required.
• Required to complete a DSP 1 and DSP 2 certification, within 1 year of hire date. Training and support is provided!
• Required to complete an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification within 1 year of hire date. Training and support is provided!
• Dual Diagnosis experience is preferred.

Position Details:

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) interact and support our individuals in a variety of potential settings and provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of every individual served by assisting and training them in the areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development.

NOTE: This is a FLOAT position requiring travel to all our group homes. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of various locations. Schedules will be provided ahead of time to ensure adequate planning.

Compensation:

• Earn $23.00/hour*

*Professional development training, support, and resources to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification- $2 pay increase once obtained = $25.00/hour.
