Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Winter Garden, FL
Department: Corporate Services MIS
Reports To: IT Systems Manager
Job Summary
The Systems Administrator position is a key role in the stability, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's server footprint, cloud product administration, and account/asset management. Subject areas include server virtualization, Active Directory administration, Azure Cloud administration, Office365, automation, and desktop support. As a member of the IT Systems team the Systems Administrator will also provide technical support to ABC staff for IT hardware and software solutions. Additionally, there will be interaction with staff and leadership to understand business needs and align technical solutions to company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administration of the corporate systems including the design, implementation, configuration, documentation, and maintenance
- Apply procedural analysis to IT systems to diagnose issues and ensure optimal performance
- On-Prem Technologies:
- Windows/Linux server environments
- Hypervisor (VMware) administration
- IT asset management
- Cloud Technologies:
- Office365 administration
- Azure Cloud
- MDM (Intune) administration
- Third party application management and deployment
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support where appropriate
- Performs other duties and special projects as directed
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2-year systems administration experience in a corporate environment
- Position is on-site and requires daily travel to ABC's Winter Garden, FL site
- Automation \ Scripting \ Powershell experience
- Experience with server management
- Strong OS and application knowledge
- Microsoft Server
- Active Directory
- VMware
- Office365 applications
- Experience creating, maintaining, and following system documentation and procedures
PERFERRED SKILLS
- Microsoft Azure certification
- VMWare vCenter\vSphere v7+
- Linux+ certification
- Experience with Agile methodologies
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Work with minimal supervision and effectively align with priorities set up by management
- Solid interpersonal skills, technically curious and self-motivated
- Ability to perform root cause analysis
- Ability to synthesize complex and diverse information
- Ability to meet and exceed expectations in a deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, internal and external customers, operational groups, as well as outside parties
- Availability outside of company business hours will be required for system and application upgrades/updates and post-maintenance testing. Occasional out-of-state travel may be required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science related field of study preferred
