Bloomberg Industry Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Product Launch Manager to serve as the orchestrator of our go-to-market (GTM) process. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all market-facing activities of part of the GTM workflow is executed flawlessly. You will be responsible for managing the overall program and process, ensuring that all teams are equipped with the right tools, meeting SLAs, and effectively escalating issues when necessary. Your leadership will ensure streamlined operations, consistent communication across teams, and the execution of quality gates throughout the product launch lifecycle.

Overall Program and Process Management

  • Oversee the product launch process, ensuring that all phases-from product release to market promotion-are executed in alignment with company standards and strategic objectives.

  • Implement and manage tools and systems that support the GTM workflow to maintain high operational efficiency.

  • Develop and enforce standardized processes, guidelines, and best practices for execution across cross-functional teams.

Optimize Workflow Execution

  • Continuously analyze the product launch and feature release workflow to identify bottlenecks, streamline operations, and optimize process performance.

  • Introduce process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance the overall execution of GTM strategies.

  • Ensure that all phases of the process are aligned with set timelines and quality standards.

SLA Management and Quality Assurance

  • Monitor and ensure that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met throughout the GTM process.

  • Execute quality gates at critical stages of the process to guarantee that deliverables meet defined quality criteria.

  • Develop and maintain metrics to assess process performance and identify areas for improvement.

Program Communication and Reporting

  • Maintain clear and regular communication on progress, potential blockers, and SLA threats with relevant stakeholders, including executive leadership and organizational teams.

  • Provide timely updates on process performance, escalations, and any deviations from the plan.

  • Document issues, decisions, and process changes to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

Escalation Management

  • Act as the central point of escalation for any issues that arise during the GTM process and elevate issue to executive sponsor as necessary.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to overall workflow.

  • Develop and implement escalation protocols and contingency plans to manage unforeseen challenges effectively.

Education:

College degree with coursework in information systems, business, engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Formal training in project management strongly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of eight years progressively responsible experience in information systems, including five years of experience managing mid-sized projects required. Experience with product design and/or system software practices in use at Bloomberg Industry Group is strongly desirable.
