Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our Accounts Receivable Leveraged Capability in Wichita, KS. This position has responsibility for Order to Cash (OTC) activity for the KES business group. A successful candidate must embrace a contribution mindset, thrive on transformation, build strong relationships, and have good analytics, economic thinking, communication, and leadership skills. This position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship.

Our Team

The OTC (Order to Cash) KES (Koch Engineered Solutions) team is a dynamic group responsible for managing the end-to-end financial process related to customer orders. This includes ensuring accurate invoicing, managing accounts receivable, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely cash collection. The team works closely with sales, customer service, accounting and finance departments to optimize cash flow and customer satisfaction. We are problem-solvers who use analytical skills and Principle Based Management to drive efficiency and value creation in the OTC cycle.

What You Will Do

  • Provide daily oversight and coaching for a global team of analysts, manage an end-to-end OTC process from invoice generation to disputes and receivables management, utilizing the escalation process to ensure timely collection of all amounts due.
  • Support and execute on team strategies and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the capability.
  • Enhance our company's procedure for collecting overdue accounts and develop process improvements to transform our overall OTC operations.
  • Identify and develop recommendations, drive waste elimination through transformation opportunities that will provide value within the organization.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively, build partnerships cross-functionally within KES and externally provide optimal solutions and deliver value for the business.
  • Proactively manage and take ownership of your business portfolio and customers.
  • Create and analyze reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement, develop and implement best practices, establish effective internal controls, frameworks, and procedures.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience with managing multiple priorities and escalating issues as appropriate
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams where relationships are critical to succeed
  • Experience leading others through projects or direct supervision
  • Experience with applying analytical and economic principles to inform decision-making and strategy.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in Accounting and Analysis roles
  • Experience in process innovation/transformation/implementation
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or other data visualization software/tools
  • Experience with global accounting activities
  • Experience with ERP systems
