As a Security Officer - Financial Lobby in Whippany, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a financial institution setting, you will be stationed at the main entrance, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents and provides a welcoming environment for guests and employees. You will monitor entry points, respond to inquiries, and communicate clearly with all individuals entering the location. Our team values reliability, integrity, and a people-first approach, working together to create a positive experience for everyone at the site.

Pay Rate: $19.64 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees at the front desk in a professional manner.
• Carry out security procedures and site-specific policies relevant to financial institution locations.
• Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and managing visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate with building management and emergency services when appropriate.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed by site protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
