Adjunct Instructor, History

The Department of History is seeking a part-time instructor to teach two introductory Western Civilization courses - French Revolution to the Present.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

Essential duties:

• Teach two introductory-level Western Civilization surveys - French Revolution to the Present.
• Adjunct History faculty at Widener enjoy a great deal of autonomy. They design their own syllabi and are free to implement their preferred pedagogy and techniques of their choosing within prevailing norms and best practices in the discipline.
• Holding 4 office hours per week

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education/training and experience required):

Required:

• MA in History
• Experience teaching history at the undergraduate level.
• Available to teach on a MWF schedule from 9:00-11:00am
