We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join the Private Client Services (PCS) Sales Enablement team. Sales Enablement's mission is to provide PCS Sales & Service Leaders, and client-facing teams, with the information, tools, training and support they need to advance sales/business growth strategies and deliver exceptional client experience that attracts, retains and grows client relationships. This individual-contributor role is responsible for supporting the success of client-facing teams - Private Wealth Advisors and Client Relationship Team (CRT) Associates. The role supports the successful execution of the PCS learning strategy and strategic priorities to drive business growth through the acquisition, expansion and retention of HNW client relationships, delivery of comprehensive wealth management and impeccable client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Service Training: In partnership with the Learning & Change Management (LCM) function, plan curriculum and facilitate training programs for PWAs and RMs: coordinate logistics, engage partners and internal "faculty" to develop and lead sessions (i.e. PCS Sales Leadership, Wealth Advisory Group, sales training vendors, Capital Group partners); drive program evolution, impact assessment and reinforcement activities, manage learning content updates.
  • Sales Activation: Support PWA execution of marketing campaigns and digital sales strategies through fluency with new marketing content, messaging and digital platforms.
  • Sales & Service Communications: In partnership with Sales Operations, manage centralized communication channels to ensure concise, relevant and real-time information is cascaded to client-facing sales and service associates. Own content curation in partnership with editorial team, messaging, distribution, storage and tracking.
  • Sales Process Execution: Support process improvement and user adoption of sales enablement technologies (CRM, sales content sites, etc.) in line with evolving sales and client engagement/segmentation strategies.
  • Triage & Problem Resolution: Intake, analyze, solve and systematize new sales/service processes and procedures. Involves partnership with LCM team to incorporate into training, capture in process & procedure libraries, work with IT partners/product owners to enable through technology.
  • Insights, Analytics & Reporting: Support and evolve reporting to enable Sales Leadership decision-making, sales management and coaching. Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales initiatives, sales results, using data and insights to identify areas for strategic focus, improvement, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in finance, business, marketing or related major. Master's degree in relevant discipline (Organizational Effectiveness/Development, etc.) and/or CFP/CPWA designation a significant differentiator.
  • Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the wealth management industry in sales, sales enablement, sales training, operations or related roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
    • Experience and perspective on adult learning strategies and effective frameworks/modalities.
    • Fluency with wealth management/planning and investment management concepts.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and influence skills.
    • Demonstrated effectiveness in leading/facilitating business leader decision-making on broad/complex topics.
    • Ability to design, facilitate and/or deliver effective training programs.
    • Proficiency in using sales enablement tools and platforms.
    • Analytical skills to measure/report on sales trends and use that information to build business cases for projects and drive decision-making.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong project management skills and comfort-level with complex problem-solving.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $121,652-$194,643 San Francisco Base Salary Range: $141,866-$226,986

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
