JOB SUMMARY

Synagro is national company that is contracted to haul waste products out of a cardboard recycling plant in Becker MN to a local landfill 7 days week/ 365 days/year. Responsible for safely transporting material from a clients' location and to an assigned destination for processing or disposal. Performs necessary tasks to load and unload material utilizing commercial trucks and/or heavy/agricultural equipment. (May include tankers and end dump trailers in an off-road environment.)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Operate an automatic transmission day cab truck.
  • Operate a belt trailer efficiently and safely.
  • Complete daily electronic logs through the Samsara app using a personal cell phone.
  • Clean equipment inside and outside daily and perform clean up prior to any public road travel.
  • Enforce and maintain standard safety procedures as well as perform any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation.
  • Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain professional company image at all times.
  • Responsible for securing tarp and/or hard tops after loading and washing any spillage off the trailer. Also, responsible for securing tailgate latches to ensure a watertight seal as needed.
  • Follow Company procedure if any spill occurs while transporting or on-site.



KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Must be able to drive tractor trailer with manual transmission and operate belt trailers .



  • Must be able to operate and drive roll off trucks
  • Must be able to operate skid loader
  • Must be reliable ( no exceptions)
  • Must be able to do light maintenance ( IE grease skid loader)
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to work under adverse weather conditions
  • Communicate effectively via telephone, text messages, email, and CB radio.
  • Understand safety training through both oral and visual methods.
  • Ability to travel.



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:



  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • CDL Class A License
  • Receive, comprehend and utilize required training
