WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Technology Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating efficient daily operations and providing exceptional support to the sales, service, rentals, and product support teams. This position is responsible for managing incoming communications, directly assisting retail customers, preparing equipment for deployment, generating sales and rental documentation, supporting warehouse and retail stocking activities, and ensuring a smooth overall customer experience within our technology-focused construction equipment and solutions business. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong communication and organizational skills, capable of multitasking and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment. The Technology Sales Coordinator will report to the General Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Customer Communication and Service:
  • Professionally answer and direct incoming phone and in-person inquiries for sales, service, rentals, and product support, ensuring efficient routing and follow-up.
  • Provide direct assistance to in-store retail customers purchasing supplies, equipment, and survey/construction instruments (including construction laser levels and optical tools), offering product knowledge and processing transactions.


Equipment Preparation and Documentation:


  • Accurately collect, prepare, and document outgoing technology equipment for field installations and delivery, ensuring all necessary components and documentation are included.
  • Sales and Rental Invoicing:
  • Efficiently create sales and rental invoicing documentation electronically, utilizing the company's business system to perform transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.


Warehouse and Retail Support:


  • Support warehouse receiving operations by assisting with the intake and organization of new inventory.
  • Actively participate in restocking customer retail areas to ensure products are readily available and attractively displayed.


Inventory Management Support:


  • Track and identify products and equipment that require reordering or replacement, communicating needs to the appropriate personnel to maintain optimal inventory levels.


Store Operations Support:


  • Support daily store opening and closing procedures as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the physical location.
  • Team Support:
  • Provide proactive support to other team members with various customer support tasks, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.


Preferred Skills/Experience:


  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with electronic invoicing processes.
  • Knowledge of basic warehousing procedures.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS


  • Highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable and able to work in a warehouse environment, including physical tasks such as lifting, sorting, moving, and organizing equipment and materials.
  • 1-2 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • Proven inside sales experience is a significant advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to utilize these tools for documentation and communication.
  • Demonstrates effective sales skills necessary to present and sell premium technology products and solutions.
  • Exhibits leadership ability and a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude towards challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience working in the construction industry is preferred, providing valuable context for our customer base and product applications.
