Security Professional - Aviation Site Patrol

As a Security Professional - Aviation Site Patrol in Teterboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aero/defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to all individuals on site. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location, particularly in areas related to aviation and defense operations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities and communicate with site personnel and first responders when necessary.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
