The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for organization wide financial analytics, reporting and expertise. The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a "face of finance" while assisting hospital management and leadership in making sound business decisions through analysis at the hospital, division, and department levels. This position serves as the expert in financial reporting and analysis as it relates to Operational Finance & Planning (OFP). The person in this position must possess the skills and knowledge to analyze all aspects of hospital operations. Responsibilities Responsibilities POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE No direct patient care. Essential Functions Develops strong business relationships and becomes a trusted resource for Operational leaders * Actively reviews financial reports, provides recommendations, and supports data driven financial decision-making * Understands and analyzes key drivers of assigned departments and identifies areas of concern * Collaborates with leaders to provide financial guidance, education, and data driven analyses * Presents financials to business partners and executive leaders as needed * Documents and prepares month-end finance summaries for close meetings with Finance leadership and Operational teams * Updates quarterly forecasts to support systemwide financial statements and projections * Supports workforce planning, tools and systems associated with staffing projections * Working knowledge of Beyond Budgeting principles and philosophies * Assists with position management processes, requests, reports, and meetings as needed * Supports data requests from internal / external customers Other Information SCOPE AND LEVEL GUIDELINES: Guidelines are generally numerous, well established, and directly applicable to the work assignment. Work assignment and desired results are explained by general oral or written instructions. COMPLEXITY: Full performance senior level. Duties assigned are generally repetitive and restricted in scope but may be of substantial intricacy. Employee primarily applies standardized practices. DECISION MAKING: Decisions impact divisional policy and goals, decisions exert some influence on other divisions and long-range organizational goals. COMMUNICATIONS: Contacts with managers and analysts where explanatory or interpretive information is exchanged, gathered, or presented; high degree of discretion and judgment are required within the parameters of the job function. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $82,095.81 to $123,143.72 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
