Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Waukegan Road, North Chicago IL 60064


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Type of Position: Hybrid (Tues, Wed, Thurs - Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)


Overview:

The Financial Analyst I will be responsible for supporting the payment processes related to external consultant engagements. The role requires attention to detail, strict adherence to financial compliance, and timely reconciliation and documentation of payment requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, clear communication, and a strong understanding of financial protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial reviews of payment requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with compliance requirements.
  • Manage documentation to support quick turnaround of payments while adhering to departmental policies.
  • Understand and apply various payment methods within the organization (e.g., Purchase Orders, ACRs).
  • Ensure accurate and timely transparency reporting related to financial activities.
  • Requisition purchase orders related to Healthcare Professional (HCP) spending.
  • Monitor and communicate any delays in payment timelines to business owners.
  • Manage the closeout of meeting activities to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payment and reporting issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain strict compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies, procedures, and processes.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of relevant financial or accounting experience.
  • Prior experience with invoice reconciliation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured procedures.
  • Professional customer service approach.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and manage tasks with limited supervision.



Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working within a regulated industry or compliance-heavy environment.
  • Familiarity with corporate finance systems and transparency reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated initiative in identifying and suggesting process improvements.
