Location: NYC Office 4 Days a week (required) Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive, organized and enthusiastic Office Engagement Manager to drive employee engagement and people analytics while overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office. This unique role combines cultural programming, operational management and data-driven insights to ensure a seamless, engaging and productive in-office experience for our employees. This role requires a proactive thinker who can streamline office processes, manage resources efficiently, and identify opportunities for operational improvement. The Office Manager will collaborate with department heads, contribute to organizational planning, and ensure that the office environment is conducive to productivity and success. Position Responsibilities:
- Lead Employee Engagement Surveys: Manage the end-to-end process of engagement, pulse, and ad hoc surveys, including survey design, deployment, vendor management, analysis, and communication of actionable insights.
- Own People Analytics: Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track engagement metrics, turnover trends, and other key people metrics; translate data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Office Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the office, including facilities management, vendor coordination, filing, supplies, security, and space planning to create a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment.
- Onboarding Support: Drive early engagement and visibility with new hires and own employee swag delivery
- Culture & Experience Initiatives: Design and execute initiatives that drive belonging, recognition, and engagement, including in-office events, cultural programming, and team-building activities.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership to align engagement strategies with broader organizational goals.
- Action Planning Support: Collaborate with managers and leaders to interpret engagement data, facilitate action planning workshops, and monitor progress.
- Vendor & Tool Management: Manage relationships with external survey, analytics, and facilities vendors; evaluate tools and platforms to improve efficiency and impact.
- In-Office Experience Champion: Serve as the primary point of contact for in-office employees, addressing needs and feedback to enhance connection, collaboration, and experience.
- Ad Hoc executive and admin support: Prepare leadership for key meetings through agenda-setting, briefing memos, and follow-up tracking with internal and external stakeholders; Process expenses and admin
- Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in employee engagement, people analytics, office management or related roles
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and HRIS/reporting systems.
- Proven experience managing engagement surveys and translating insights into action
- Experience managing vendors, office budgets, and facilities operations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a very keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Creative, proactive mindset with passion for workplace culture and employee experience as well as excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder partnership
- A positive and upbeat attitude, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations with the ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities at any given time.
- An ability to work well independently and be an effective collaborator within and across teams.
- You have a demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, using utmost discretion.
- High school diploma required; BS/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred.
- Excited to work out of our NYC HQ 4 to 5 days per week (REQUIRED).
