We are searching for a talented candidate for wound care clinic.

Hours: PER DIEM 7:45A - 4:15P. Clinic is open Monday - Friday

Shift: Day - standard - no weekend, holiday or on-call

Location: Fall River, MA - Charlton Memorial Hospital / Wareham, MA - Tobey Hospital / New Bedford, MA - St. Luke's Hospital

• Under the general supervision and direction of the Medical Director, and in collaboration with Panel Physician, or Program Manager, provide care to assigned wound care patients utilizing basic and advanced knowledge of wound care principles.
• The duties and responsibilities are to provide direct quality patient care, perform patient evaluation and prescribe treatment plans, and complete all required documentation within regulatory standards.
• Provide education to the patient and act as a resource to the entire wound center team.
• Assist with program evaluation with respect to all clinical services provided at the center.

• Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required.
• Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
• Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
• Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
• Completion of a Medicare approved training course in wound care and hyperbaric medicine is required upon hire.
• Experience in wound care or related field is preferred.
• Current Massachusetts Nursing License or Physician Assistant License is required.
