Description Senior Character Artist Prototyper Onsite in Sausalito, CA. 5 days per week. Looking for a Senior Character Artist Prototyper to help invent the future of digital presence. In our Sausalito location you will partner with our Creative Director technical artists research scientists and engineers to explore complex research problems and create immersive demos that show how our state-of-the-art technologies can enable the future of AR/VR avatars. Our research team develops the technologies that will enable this product groups to ship the avatars the world will see in 5 to 10 years. You will work in small nimble teams to rapidly iterate on digital character-focused demos and prototypes. These demos and researches are shared with the top level leadership and community of of cross-functional partners to inspire and define a north-star for this future product. Required Experience * 5 years of experience as a CG character and hardsurface modeler Maya/Zbrush Proficient in assets blueprint creation in Unreal/Unity. * Skilled in creating textures clothing assets grooms/Hair Substance Marvelous Maya or similar tools * Demonstrated experience in translating technical terminology in order to drive understanding and buy-in from a varied range of stakeholders * Proven experience of identifying potential roadblocks early and developing plans to mitigate risks * In-depth knowledge in assets optimization for real-time Models Textures Preferred Experience * Extensive Content development experience including shipped AAA games and/or film * AR/VR experience Proven experience in creation and pipeline of digital assets both for VFX and Video Games Knowledge of emerging technologies * Houdini experience is a plus * Interest in AI is a plus Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
