*Description*
Paging Tech *Boom/Scissor certified or able to operate. *Experience with 14/2, 16/2, and 12/2 AWG terminations and cabling. *Experience working with conduit, strut and fire rated backboards. *Basic understanding of electrical / audio circuits and relays. *Provide your own PPE. oHard hat, gloves, High-vis vest, composite shoes, and eye protection. *Provide your own Low Voltage Hand tools. *Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. *Experience with low voltage wiring and installation. *General understanding of Single-Mode and Multi-Mode Fiber oNo splicing required, on some sites tipping may be required. *General understanding of Paging/Fire Alarm systems. oEdwards, Valcom and 70-volt systems preferred. *Ability to read and interpret physical and digital prints, providing any redline drawings as needed. *Knowledge of office speakers, warehouse speakers, outdoor speakers. oTo include installation, when to install EOL resistors and which resistors to use and mounting procedures. *Certifications in low-voltage or audio system installation a plus. *Excel proficiency. *Excellent communication skills. Wireless EOL Boom/Scissor certified or able to operate. Experience installing Cat6 cabling in warehouse environment. proper installation methods, terminating and testing. Experience installing conduit and strut. Experience installing APs in an active warehouse environment. Experience supervising 2-3 other technicians. Experience providing daily updates, and ability to look ahead at project needs such as tooling, material, and manpower needs. Provide your own PPE. Ability to read and interpret physical and digital prints, providing any redline drawings as needed. Certifications in low-voltage installation a plus. Experience performing wireless surveys a plus. Excel, word and general computer proficiency. Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings up to 2,000,000 sq ft, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work. Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations. Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct. Repair cable poles and towers. Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational. Troubleshoot issues with cable networks to ensure the proper functioning and to ensure the system meets local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements. Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by Wachter, our customers, or OSHA. Provide regular updates to Project Management on project status and current objectives. Lead small crews of 2-8 technicians by providing daily instruction and training, as needed. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
