The Role We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Proposal Development to join the Proposal Development team at BNY Investments with a focused coverage on Dreyfus, and Mellon Investments. This role is located Pittsburgh, PA, and is a hybrid working role. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsible for responding to client/prospect request for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
- Working closely with stakeholders (relationship management, distribution, compliance and more) to produce exceptional proposal responses to highlight Mellon and Dreyfus capabilities.
- Coordinating with stakeholders and SME's, setting deadlines and managing priorities in a dynamic environment to meet or exceed deadlines.
- Collaborating and coordinating with internal contributors and SME's to ensure RFP content is complete and accurate in Rocket Docs.
- Working to continually enhance standard language, exhibits and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses
- Partnering with the Analytics team to implement and refine a new AI/Autofill process for drafting RFPs and DDQs.
- Maintaining Rocket Docs database of proposal questions and answers; providing feedback on question and answer enhance AI/Autofill capabilities
- Creating documentation for recurring deliverables to optimize and scale questionnaire delivery to our existing clients.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of institutional asset management industry.
- Experience in proposal development preferred but not required.
- Strong time management and planning skills are critical to success in this role
- Strong organizational, writing and narrative skills are preferred
- Must be resourceful and highly efficient, with high attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced Word/Excel user; RocketDocs experience a plus.
