Job Purpose

AHM holds over $800M of inventory that is purchased from over 1,200 suppliers. This team is responsible for reconciling and payment of over 500K invoice lines annually, totaling over $640M of inventory.

This role contributes to level one tree objective relating to leading levels of customer satisfaction, strengthen operational efficiency to minimize expenses.

The position duties are: Authorization of timely and accurate payments to assigned Parts suppliers by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices and statements.



Key Accountabilities




  • Pay Supplier Timely - Entering invoices and resolving quantity discrepancies timely. Obtaining and reconciling 100% of statements from suppliers. Notes on all items over 120+ days old, progress month-to-month. Monitoring and clearing partial invoices and receivers
  • Manage Delivery Trouble Reports
  • Shared Responsibilities such as entering packlists within 3 days of receipt, follow-ups 3 days on issues, mail and memo distribition and Aging Report
  • Perform Work Accurately and Efficiently, 1 or fewer memo with errors per month, correctly classify receivers for monthly aging report, and correctly classify invoices on statements



Qualifications, Experience and Skills




  • Minimum Educational Qualifications

    • Entry level, Associates Art or Bachelor's Degree in Bus Admin / Accounting


  • Minimum Experience

    • 1-3 years relevant experience in accounting
    • Knowledge of warehousing or procurement processes and automated financial systems
    • Some Microsoft Office experience (Excel and Word)


  • Other Job-Specific Skills

    • Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills
    • Self-starter a must
    • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
    • 10-KEY BY TOUCH REQUIRED





Workstyle

This position will be 80% onsite

This position requires a lot of communication and follow-up with the suppliers in order to pay suppliers timely and meet deadlines.

Due to quantity discrepancies, this position will need to be able to analyze discrepancies to determine root cause and work with the parts centers for resolution.

On-going deadlines require excellent time management as this position is expected to respond effectively to ensure supplier payments are made on time.
