Reports To: Vice President of Patient Care Services
Schedule: Flexible Hours Available with weekend requirements

Position Overview:

  • Community Healthlink, a leader in behavioral health services, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Voluntary, Unlocked Bedded Unit. This unique position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric and addiction care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical expertise to ensure standards of practice are met and maintained within the unit.
  • Perform patient histories and medication evaluations for individuals admitted to the Psychiatric and Addictions Service under the general direction of a supervising physician.
  • Collaborate closely with the unit Nurse Manager to support high-quality patient care and promote professional development among nursing staff.
  • Serve as a clinical resource to the multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty and approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
  • BLS Certification required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing required

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in psychiatric or addiction medicine settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to community-based, trauma-informed care
