Position Summary:

This will be an individual contributor role in the DFS Services Segment and will be reporting under Manager, Service Sales.As the Services Project Coordinator, you will be responsible assisting the Project Managers with various project related tasks, which include, but are not limited to: entering orders, scheduling tasks, following up on start-ups, submitting payments to contractors, tracking project costs alongside the Project Managers, and ensuring project deliverables are received.

You will need a growth mindset, an entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative style and a disciplined delivery focus to work successfully across our cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch all ERP project task types as required. These tasks include inventory, pre-install, project, survey, etc. Tasks may change as business needs adjust.
  • Manage escalations from Deployment Command Center to support field operations.
  • Follow up and ensure all material warranty entitlement startups are complete within a pre-defined period.
  • Ensure contractors are paid within 30 days of a task being completed, specifically for Project Tasks.
  • Track RMAs for Projects as required.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing process design and design changes (Kaizen events) as needed by the team and business.
  • Ensure project costs are tracked using GPMA codes in Project Loader and Order Entry.
  • Work in parallel with project managers to oversee the entire life-cycle of projects of various sizes - communicating timelines, status, and identifying potential risks.
  • Act as a liaison - provide support, updates, agendas, and push for deliverable and deadline completions for projects' stakeholders.
  • Document and track project performance in organized records using Microsoft applications as required by Project Managers.
  • Keep project related documents organized, updated and distributed as necessary.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed to best support the project and team.
  • Keep track of all out-of-scope work for projects and document as required by project managers.

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication skills having a high comfort level interacting with internal and external customers, and contractors; both written and verbal.
  • Deep understanding of project processes and tools used to complete project tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Strong business acumen to keep track of all the various complex moving pieces involved in a project.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
  • Have a customer centric mindset and aptitude for providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong team player as candidate will work with cross functional teams through different procedures and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work through Oracle, and craft reports using Discoverer.
  • Ability to use Power BI is a plus

Education:

  • High School diploma required at a minimum.
