Summary:

The Credit Assistant operates in a fast-paced environment that values servant leadership, continuous improvement, and a strong commitment to teamwork. This role collaborates with internal departments and external customers to resolve discrepancies, apply payments, and support positive cash flow. Attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and a commitment to high performance are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process ACH payments
  • Process credit card payments
  • Prepare and process bank deposits.
  • Retrieve documentation from various systems.
  • Research & correct discrepancies on customers' accounts
  • Contact customers for skipped invoices or other collection issues.
  • Apply payments to customers' accounts.
  • Respond to credit reference inquiries.
  • Set up new accounts.
  • Learn coverage needs of other team members and provide support when necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED or one to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of accounting software and practices
