Join Sealed Air as a Strategic Logistics Leader - Drive Innovation, Collaboration, and Results

Are you ready to lead transformative logistics initiatives across North America? At Sealed Air, we're looking for a high-energy, results-driven professional to join our team as a Logistics Director, 3PL. In this pivotal role, you'll be the key connection between our third-party logistics (3PL) partners, material handling vendors, and internal operations - ensuring our products move safely, efficiently, and on time to meet the needs of a fast-paced global supply chain.

Based at our Duncan, SC location with a flexible/hybrid schedule, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact by building vendor partnerships, optimizing distribution strategies, and leading cross-functional projects that directly affect service quality and shareholder value.

Position Description



  • Daily interaction with 3PL partners to ensure Quality, On-time and complete shipping, and safety KPI's are adhered to.
  • Develop and analyze quotes for services and products
  • Effective communication with customer service, transportation, plants, and sales
  • Drive value through creative partnerships with vendors while forging strong relationships
  • Lead cross-functional teams through project activities to drive overall shareholder value
  • Analyze plant and distribution center material handling requirements and recommend custom solutions to obtain maximum efficiency and best overall value.
  • Enter and process purchase orders for logistics functions
  • Set budgets, manage partners to achieve targets, and report monthly
  • Utilize SAP, TMS, and Power BI to drive improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degreeis required
  • 10+ years' experience in high volume distribution management
  • 5 + years' experience with SAP is required
  • 5+ years' experience in logistics management as a shipper or carrier (FTL, LTL, and Parcel)
  • Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Must have strong Excel experience - utilizing to create budgets and do data analysis
  • Ability to solve complex situations with speed and effective results
  • Ability to travel 25%
  • Possess a strong passion for performance in service, quality, and cost control.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative spirit to overcome obstacles
