Manages the global deployment, maintenance, and inventory of air cargo screening equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Provides technical assistance and serves as a FedEx representative for various TSA committees. Manages a team of Security Systems Tech Advisors, engaging with manufacturers on emerging technology, and supporting the development of initiatives to improve cargo screening operations. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree/equivalent (business, engineering, or other quantitative fields). Minimum Experience Five years' experience in aviation and regulatory security, TSA experience, or related fields with an understanding of airline regulatory compliance. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Strong understanding of TSA, or other regulatory bodies, technology standards and technical requirements for air cargo screening equipment. IT networking knowledge to support the deployment of equipment. FedEx financial experience. Experience with vendor sourcing, contract development and vendor management. Experience working with all levels of management. Ability to work closely with governmental agencies and industry associates as it related to aviation security. Job Conditions Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
