Position Overview The Workspace Planning & Move Specialist II (WP/MS) will be on the frontline for the Workspace Planning Team. This position will handle email, phone, and Service Now requests for space, moves, reconfigures, and furniture, and answer questions from customers. This position will support team projects on an as-needed basis as well as individual projects to support the continued improvement of team policies, procedures, and electronic tools. This person will assist in purchasing for the team, completing purchase requisitions and tracking total cost center spend. The WP/MS will perform routine audits of space, verifying furniture placement and type, signage, and CAFM tool data. Assisting with the physical aspects of moving, installing and reconfiguring will be part of this role as well. This position will report to the Senior Space Planner located in Redwood City, CA. Essential Duties Include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain CAFM system and continuous auditing of data (Move Manager tasks, label spaces, creating rooms and square footage, etc.). Present Compass functionality at New Hire Orientation.
- Coordinate with vendors and collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Manage daily/weekly tasks of onboarding/offboarding, transfers, and seating of new hires.
- Coordinate personal item pickup for remote and termed employees.
- Coordinate furniture warranty claims with vendors.
- Coordinate event furniture setup options for requesters.
- Manage all interior signage for desks and rooms, auditing routinely and updating.
- Complete all requests for window coverings, including blinds, shades, and window film.
- Triage Service Now requests and distributes work orders to the team.
- Effectively communicate work order status and assist in resolving open items as needed.
- Manage the purchase requisition process to obtain purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Execute moves to plan based on the criteria set forth by the Space Planning Coordinator. This can involve loading, unloading, and operation of a liftgate truck, driving to and from facilities in order to complete the move.
- Complete furniture installs and relocations including, but not limited to, modular office workstations, private offices, conference rooms, and furniture accessories.
- Complete the assembly of unassembled furniture.
- Complete furniture-based work orders (repairs) assigned within a CMMS or CAFM software.
- Assist with the inventory of furniture and accessories and the overall organization of the storage space.
- Provide world class service to internal customers.

- Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand/arm; reach above shoulder height.
- Ability and means to travel between Redwood City locations.
- Ability to travel to other campuses (Phoenix, San Diego, Kirkland).
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of Associate's Degree.
- 1 year of experience working within a corporate facilities team.
- 2 years of relevant commercial move experience.
- 2 years of relevant experience assembling office furniture.
- Basic understanding of furniture panel systems and office furniture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, no more than two moving violations in the past 36 months, and no unresolved license revocation or suspension issues.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in a corporate real estate or facilities environment.
- 2+ years of experience with Kimball, Allsteel, National, and Watson Furniture.
- Familiarity with ADA guidelines.

Salary Range: $49,000.00 - $76,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - CA - Redwood City on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
