to hire a Licensed Customs Brokerage Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. If you're an experienced professional in import/export compliance and ready to step into a pivotal role with a company that values excellence, this could be the perfect next step in your logistics career.

Pay: $90,000 - $95,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)| Overtime may be required

As a Licensed Customs Brokerage Specialist, you will oversee compliance with U.S. import/export laws and regulations, working closely with regulatory agencies like U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Department of Commerce. This is a hands-on position requiring deep expertise in customs brokerage and freight forwarding to guide international trade activities, ensure organizational compliance, and reduce legal and operational risks.

Responsibilities:



  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), BIS, and other trade regulations
  • Monitor and resolve trade compliance issues related to imports/exports
  • Maintain and develop import/export compliance policies and SOPs
  • Track legal and regulatory changes and assess their operational impact
  • Oversee accurate filings via the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system
  • Provide training and guidance on trade regulations and compliance standards
  • Conduct internal audits and develop corrective action plans as needed
  • Report violations or potential violations to appropriate authorities
  • Lead efforts to build a transparent, organization-wide compliance culture



Qualifications:



  • Must have a valid Customs Broker License
  • Extensive experience in customs brokerage and freight forwarding
  • Strong understanding of U.S. and international import/export laws
  • Ability to develop, implement, and enforce compliance programs
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
