Position Summary NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director, Data Analysis in the Development and Alumni Relations team (DART) within the Stern School of Business. The Assistant Director will build a broad and deep understanding of fundraising metrics to provide DART fundraisers with information that supports the management of prospects through the development cycle, and recommend processes for ensuring that the best prospects are actively managed by front-line fundraisers and direct marketing partners. In partnership with the direct marketing team, the Assistant Director will identify trends and populations to allow for prompt and proactive identification of both opportunities and deficiencies towards greater success. They will also support ongoing prospect management by implementing methods to evaluate portfolio productivity, monitoring fundraiser activity, and helping to ensure the effective and timely capture of relationship management data. They will assist with developing, managing, analyzing, and visualizing fundraising and engagement data for alumni, and perform data analysis, gather requirements, prepare functional and technical specifications, develop business intelligence solutions, and perform testing and validation. Qualifications Candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and 3 years' relevant experience of proven experience in data analysis involving large data sets, with a background in development and/or fundraising. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000 to $84,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
