About our group:

Seagate Customer Success (CS) group is seeking an experienced engineering qualification manager. The CS group is responsible for the best-in-class customer service, qualification of new products and quality metrics for cloud customers. We work very closely with Sales, our factories and design centers to ensure that all of our engineering requirements and quality metrics are met for every product.

About the role - you will:

  • Proactively network with customers to grow professional relationships and best customer experience.
  • Manage customer requirements and be customer advocate with Product Line Management and Core team.
  • Engage with Design Center teams to timely execute product qualifications.
  • Stage and manage builds to enable qualification success.
  • Responsible for Technical Issues on large CSP accounts.
  • Manage joint engineering engagement projects with the customer.
  • Ensure new product qualifications meet schedules and are time to market leaders.
  • Work with the factories to ensure quality metrics meet the customer qualification requirements.

About you:

  • Knowledge of product development cycle and validation processes of storage device products.
  • Knowledge of storage devices for Enterprise Server, Storage and NAS applications.
  • Work cross functionally to manage, influence and drive solutions both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Organized, team oriented.
  • Self-motivated, proactive individual with a strong willingness to learn and grow.

Your experience includes:

  • Knowledge of how HDDs work, and how they are used in a CSP data center.
  • Project management experience of Storage device or System products.
  • 7 years of experience in managing large customer accounts.
  • Experience in creating and managing 8Ds for issue resolution.
  • Lead cross functional teams in resolving engineering issues.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of experience.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $66.04- $95.25/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
