Position Overview

The Sr. Principal MCED Marketing Director is responsible for creating and executing all downstream marketing activities and campaigns that build awareness and adoption of the Cancerguard product line.

The Sr. Principal MCED Marketing Director develops, executes, and oversees all marketing strategy and programs including, but not limited to, executing the annual brand plan, monitoring consumer and HCP attitudes, developing comprehensive marketing plans, developing marketing budgets, managing marketing agencies and media partners to execute plans, positively shaping the attitudes and opinions toward the MCED category and Cancerguard in particular, partnering with the leadership team to develop annual strategic and operating plans, and ensuring effective and proactive communication with all stakeholders.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and lead, in collaboration with the MCED leadership team, the implementation of the overall MCED marketing strategy.
  • Responsible for all customer and digital engagement initiatives that support our product and business objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, engagement with physicians, health systems, consumers, advocacy groups, and other influencers.
  • Work with marketing and media agencies as well as internal partners to develop, deploy, and optimize comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive product growth and increase consumer/HCP/health system engagement.
  • Support the sales team in creating sales enablement content.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and other MCED program leaders to create and promote messages at industry conferences that positively shape the perception of MCED/Cancerguard in the eyes of health care providers, health system executives, and other influencers.
  • Ensure the marketingteam is operating effectively; contribute to hiring decisions, provides coaching to the marketing team, resolves conflicts and team concerns, proactively promotes and supports development initiatives, and reinforces cross-company collaboration and teamwork.
  • Develop and monitor key marketing milestones and marketing metrics along with the development of communication strategies which report progress against marketing goals.
  • In tandem with the product management team, stay connected and provide thought leadership on the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and threats and develop strategies and tactics that continue to grow our products and provide answers to our patients.
  • Foster an ethical and compliant environment in accordance with company policies and procedures and industry regulations and standards.
  • Participate in marketing networking efforts such as industry events, speaking engagements, professional associations, and industry roundtables to increase brand and product awareness.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel 25% of working time away from work location; may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other relevant field.
  • 15+ years of progressive marketing experience.
  • 3+ years leading marketing teams directly or indirectly and contributing at the leadership level.
  • Demonstrated communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated engagement and collaboration experience with the ability to lead and inspire teams through influence and partnership.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively translating data and insights into strategy and design direction with a deep understanding and empathy for customers.
  • Demonstrated experience owning the development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Demonstrated experience in key marketing and marketing effectiveness metrics implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the competitive landscape with the experience of translating new innovative ideas into successful commercial and patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Experience in Healthcare, Biotech and/or Pharma.
  • Experience with reimbursement and health plan products.

Salary Range:

$204,000.00 - $326,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
