cGMP Bulk Manufacturing Tech Category: Manufacturing & Production Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-385355 cGMP Bulk Manufacturing Technician Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Duration: Contract position approved for one year, with a good possibility of direct hire. Pay Rate: $19.00/hr Shift: 12-hour rotating day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 2-2-3 rotation) overtime is needed based on workload. Job Responsibilities Operate high-speed equipment used in the production of BacT/ALERT bottles while staging, and weighing of raw materials for liquid reagent formulation. Perform the setup, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment used in manufacturing and packaging processes. Stage and prepare raw materials for media formulation. Complete production batches and documentation. Perform chemical weighing and reagent formulation. Execute production activities while maintaining SOPs. Batch paperwork is completed accurately and timely. Assist with the review and revision of SOPs. Keep work area in compliance with cGMP requirements Education and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 0-1 years in a regulated production environment. Experience in weighing raw materials is a plus. Certification in Bioworks Program is a plus. Familiarity with measurement scales, mixing, blending, chemical mills, and other formulation manufacturing equipment is strongly desired. Knowledge of FDA or GMP regulations is preferred. Ability to learn, comprehend, and demonstrate competency in operating new equipment within a 75-day period with a trainer. Regularly climb stairs and routinely lift 50-75 lbs. Stand for extended periods ranging from 8-12 hours. Operate motorized pallet jacks. Handle chemicals, antibiotics, and hazardous materials as needed. May be exposed to odors during media production. Lab work requires PPE, including hairnet, beard cover, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, PAPRs, face mask, and lab coats. Make-up and jewelry are prohibited in certain manufacturing areas. Estimated Min Rate: $19.00 Estimated Max Rate: $19.00 Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
