1st Shift Powersports Distribution Team Lead - Beloit, WI

We are looking for a Powersports Distribution Team Lead who will report to the Operations Supervisor, and who'll be tasked with overseeing Outbound Logistics. As part of your role, you'll be supporting your team. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring deadlines are met.

Hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support as needed with the support of the operations supervisor.

  • Delegate tasks and set daily/weekly goals, ensuring each team member understands their responsibilities.

  • Ask questions frequently, retain information well and have the capacity to be the subject matter expert/ super-user.

  • Communicate information and Updates for including training, implementation dates and impacts to sales and supply chain.

  • Collaborate with supervisors to develop and implement strategies for warehouse productivity, cost reduction, and safety.

  • Generate regular reports detailing warehouse performance metrics, presenting findings to the management team.

  • Gather feedback and be a source of intelligence for both the operators and the leadership team.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 1 + years of previous work experience in Distribution.

  • Experience using WMS, ERP or similar systems.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals, support other team members and departments while maintaining goals with a positive attitude.

  • Comfortable conducting performance evaluations, coaching team members and delivering direct, constructive feedback.

  • Experience Demonstrating strong leadership presence and ability to positively influence others, even without formal leadership experience.

  • Skills in problem solving and conflict resolution to maintain a productive work environment.

  • Experience thriving in a fast paced, ever-changing environment with the ability to adapt quickly and stay flexible.

  • Regular and reliable attendance.

  • Location and in office expectations: Required to work onsite full time in the Beloit, WI site and able to work overtime based on business needs.

Preferred:

  • Experience accessing workload needs and re-allocating team members to support shifting warehouse priorities.

  • Prior experience in a leadership role.

  • Outbound Logistics experience.
