As a Security Professional - Transit Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a transportation setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication skills support positive interactions with the public. Pay Rate: $18.81 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions depending on the location.
• Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible presence and observing for unusual behavior or situations.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities or site management when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A County Unarmed Security Professional License in Denver, Colorado is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or Security License is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
