Ricardo Defense's Field Service department is expanding. We have openings for Field Service Mechanics at various United States Army depots across the United States and United States Army Depots outside the continental United States.

We are seeking skilled automotive mechanics who can travel to US Army Bases to install combat vehicle modifications and performance upgrades on the HMMWV or level one maintenance on the Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV). These Field Service Mechanics must be strong mechanics with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot automotive systems quickly and efficiently.

This is a 100% remote position with candidates placed at these basses for six months to a year at a time. Ricardo Defense covers Airfare, Lodging, Rental car, gas as well as a daily per diem while at these locations.

The Field Service Mechanic position starting salary is $60,000 annually plus benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and testing vehicle component upgrades
• Identifying Maintenance risks of equipment
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing vehicle systems
• Installs and product testing for quality assurance
• Familiar with hand, air, and impact tools, general shop equipment, and OSHA safety procedures.

• Experience in government contracting or military experience is a plus
• 91B, 63B, or equivalent is preferred
• Technical certification, or equivalent is preferred but not required
• A minimum of five years of experience in automotive or heavy equipment service/ repair of brakes, drive train, and suspension components
• Follow carefully planned procedures dictated by Field Support Representatives
