Position Title: CNC Operator
Wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs) Fuel Your Future in Precision Manufacturing! Step into a hands-on role as a 1st Shift Machinist in St. Charles, MO and become a key player in high-performance production. This position has the opportunity for hire offering $18-$20/hour, with a consistent 4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm). Also, offering a 2nd shift! At the forefront of CNC machining, you'll load, run, and inspect critical components-keeping machines running smoothly and parts to exact specs. CNC Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Load/unload parts on CNC machines to support maximum spindle utilization time. - Inspect and monitor parts as they are completed on the machine. - Deburr and blend all parts that are machined. - Perform daily maintenance on machines including maintaining fluid levels, emptying chips, wiping down machines to remove coolants, dust and debris. = Maintain an organized clean and safe work environment. CNC Operator Requirements: - Math skills to perform basic calculations. - Read and interpret blueprints. - Demonstrate attention to detail. - Ability to read measuring equipment. (Calipers/Micrometers). - High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role. - Must be authorized to work in the United States. International Traffic in Arms Regulation/Export Administration Regulations (ITAR/EAR) clearance is required. - 2 Years' experience with CNC machining or Enrolled in Machining Program at a Technical College. - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. - Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud. - Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection. - May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds. korea.willingham@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
