- Estimated annual base pay: $99,600 (minimum) - $124,500 (midpoint) - $149,400 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Materials/Logistics Manager or looking to become one, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This person will be reporting to the Director of Supply Chain in our Aerospace Fuel Systems and Control Business. This person will have a team of Schedulers working under them and will have the responsibility of developing the supplier relationship management skillset of their team, in addition to the daily tactical scheduler responsibilities. This position is viewed as crucial to achieving consistent execution of supplier strategies and all movement of materials in support of the overall order fulfillment process. This person will be a key partner to our Strategic Supplier Management Team in helping to resolve critical supplier issues.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and actively participate in the monthly SIOP cycle, ensuring timely data, facilitating key meetings (Demand, Supply, Reconciliation, Executive), and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve an integrated plan.
- Develop and maintain the overarching master production schedule (MPS) considering forecasts, customer orders, capacity constraints, and material availability across all manufacturing areas.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of master schedulers, assembly and test schedulers, and manufacturing schedulers, setting priorities and ensuring effective workload distribution.
- Analyze and interpret demand forecasts and ensure the team translates them into workable production plans for their respective areas.
- Monitor and manage capacity across all scheduling horizons, identifying potential bottlenecks and working with the team to propose solutions.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service to understand customer requirements and delivery expectations, ensuring the scheduling team is aligned.
- Work with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, communicating needs through the scheduling team.
- Collaborate with production leadership to ensure the schedules created by the team are executable and aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the master schedule and the performance of the scheduling team, such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and inventory levels.
- Identify and implement improvements to the scheduling processes across all areas, enhancing efficiency and accuracy through the team.
- Manage and resolve scheduling conflicts and issues proactively, guiding the team in their resolution efforts.
- Maintain accurate data within the ERP/MRP system related to scheduling, ensuring the team's adherence to data integrity.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to provide input on production planning and supply chain activities, representing the scheduling team's perspective.
- Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews for the scheduling team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment within the scheduling team.
What We Are Looking For
Education or Formal Training:
- BA or BS required in business, supply chain, operations, logistics or other related fields.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- 5+ years' experience in a supply chain
- 3+ years leadership
