Location: Hybrid Redwood City, Kirkland, Vancouver

As a Senior Game Director, you will work with a large but tight-knit team of enthusiastic industry craftspeople from all walks of life, united by their love for The Sims. You will lead the PM, UX, and Design teams that are developing for the future of The Sims. You will do this by combining insights from market trends, UX research, and player feedback to develop insights and identify product opportunities. You will then partner with the design, production, and marketing teams to shape these insights into product solutions that exceed goals. You will report to the Executive Producer of the product.

Responsibilities

* Lead product roadmaps that drive business objectives for our products.

* Lead UX and Design functions

* Create and lead product planning and execution that drives our primary OKRs: acquisition, engagement, player satisfaction, and more

* Lead a team of highly capable Product Managers, UX, and Designers to be strong contributors.

* Your team will identify and prioritize strategies, and then work with the Executive Producer and Production teams to deliver.

* Collaborate with peers and partners, and present plans, updates and presentations.

* Work with data, and through the analytical output of others to make data driven decisions.

* Remain current and build an understanding within your team about the latest in industry and product trends, titles, and best in class mechanics. Use this to inform compelling strategies.

Qualifications

* Experience launching world-class gaming products or initiatives.

* Experience working within the HD and Mobile gaming spaces.

* Influential, and able to work through peers and stakeholders.

* Effective at prioritizing competing needs.

* Social Gaming experience, and understanding of what it takes to engage and bring players back day after day

* History of developing talent and leading a team of high performers.

* Master's degree in Business, Economics or related field.

* 6+ years of gaming industry experience.

* 10+ years of experience in Product Management and/or strategy/planning.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $179,900 - $249,800 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $220,500 - $311,100 USD
* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) * $198,100 - $311,300 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
