SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and Research Manager to lead the custom research projects (i.e. consumer surveys or social listening, etc.) to support the Advertising & Sponsorships (A&S) business at EA. You are an expert in multiple research methodologies, able to culminate data points and research results into relevant insights stories and developing custom research that aligns with our goals. We are looking for independent project management experience in designing, planning consumer research and the influence partners at all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research strategies that address complex business scenarios.
  • Translate research findings into relevant insights stories for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate research requests, ensuring agreement on long-term planning.
  • Use EA's enterprise tools and platforms to design and field brand lift studies.
  • Advocate for A&S needs in EA analytics tool & platform procurement plans.
  • Build relationships with partners, being a trusted advisor.
  • Innovate and propose new methodologies to meet evolving research needs.
  • Facilitate research roadmapping and manage financial and time resources effectively.
  • Mentor less experienced researchers, encouraging a culture of best practices.
  • Manage the RFP process, including vendor selection and negotiation.
  • Participate in hiring and provide insights on resourcing needs.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in multiple research methodologies and the ability to innovate new approaches.
  • Experience independently managing complex research projects simultaneously and long-term planning.
  • Experience influencing senior partners.
  • Experience Interpreting data and providing applicable insights.
  • Experience imanaging vendor relationships and the RFP process.
  • Experience mentoring and improving the contributions of peers and less experienced researchers.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in consumer research role in-house or agency.

This role is scoped for Vancouver, BC in a hybrid work model consisting of 3 days per week in the office.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $107,600 - $147,100 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
